Jilin Province Reports Rise in Contractual Overseas Investment
Northeast China's Jilin Province introduced 180 million US dollars of contractual overseas investment from January to May this year, a rise of 37.8 percent on a yearly basis.
Northeast China's Jilin Province introduced 180 million US dollars of contractual overseas investment from January to May this year, a rise of 37.8 percent on a yearly basis.
During the five months, the province ratified 119 overseas-funded enterprises, up 5.3 percent from the same period of last year, with an combined investment of 380 million dollars, which was up 41.4 percent.
Overseas money introduced in the five months mainly flowed intolocal industries of foodstuffs, chemical products, timber processing, pharmaceuticals, social services, agriculture and catering.
Some 72 percent of the overseas investment contracted in the five months, or 132 million dollars, was used in Changchun, capital of the province, and the city of Songyuan.
