France to Urge EU Lift its Restriction on Military Technology Export to China

French Defense Minister Michele Alliot-Marie said Tuesday that France is trying to persuade European Union to lift its restrictions on military technology exports to China.

French Defense Minister Michele Alliot-Marie said Tuesday that France is trying to persuade European Union to lift its restrictions on military technology exports to China.

Speaking to the media in Beijing, the French Defense Minister said military cooperation between China and France should be strengthened and a regular meeting of Defense Ministers of the two countries will be held. Meanwhile, each country will send its military officials to participate in an exchange program.
