Senior Chinese Leader Stresses 'Three Represents' in United Frontwork
Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, stressed Monday the implementation of the important thought of Three Represents in the advancement of the patriotic united front work, to garner comprehensive support for the revitalization of the Chinese nation.

Jia, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said during a seminar held on the eve of the 82nd anniversary of the CPC that people from all walks of life working for the united front have made great contributions to the country's construction and development.
Attendees of the seminar included democratic parties and non-party personages and public figures from various walks of life. They reviewed the great achievements in socialist construction with Chinese characteristics under the CPC leadership, and the success in the anti-SARS fight.
A new round of study of the "Three Represents" is essential for the improvement in the CPC's ability to lead the country, is key for the building a society in which people will enjoy a fairly comfortable life, and is also important for the reinforcement of acomprehensive united front, said Jia.
Jia said that it is important to put the "Three Represents" into practice, which will help bring the united front work to a new stage.
