Musharraf's US Visit Successful: Pakistani FM

Pakistani Foreign Minister Mian Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri has said that US president Bush's announcement of 3 billion US dollars financial assistance for Pakistan during Musharraf's visit will help the country's economic stability.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Mian Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri has said that US president Bush's announcement of 3 billion US dollars financial assistance for Pakistan during Musharraf's visit will help the country's economic stability.

According to a report of Associated Press of Pakistan, Kasuri said on Sunday that Pakistan has achieved a lot during President Musharraf's visit to the United States and its benefits will startappearing soon.

The minister said that US assistance in the defense sector reflected the success of Pakistan's point of view for bringing balance of traditional weapons in this region.

Kasuri said that Pakistan believes in resolving all issues through dialogue and sincerely wants to start process of meaningful negotiations with India.

Terming President Musharraf's US visit as successful, he said that the foreign policy of the country is much more stable and stronger than before.
