Chinese Mainland Reports No New SARS Cases (June 27)

Chinese Ministry of Health Friday reported no new case of severe acute respiratory syndrome and no new death from the disease on the Chinese mainland for the 24 hours from 10:00 a.m. June 26 to 10:00 a.m. June 27.

Chinese Ministry of Health Friday reported no new case of severe acute respiratory syndrome and no new death from the disease on the Chinese mainland for the 24 hours from 10:00 a.m. June 26 to 10:00 a.m. June 27.

In the meantime, no SARS patients were discharged from hospitals upon recovery nationwide.

As of 10:00 a.m. June 27, the number of SARS patients hospitalized on the Chinese mainland was 39, of which, 34 were in Beijing, four in Guangdong and one in Shanghai, according to the ministry.

During the past 24 hours, the Chinese mainland reported no new suspect SARS case.
