Beijing Reports No New SARS Cases for 29 Days
There were no new SARS cases in Beijing between 10:00 a.m. May 29 and 10:00 a.m. June 26, the Beijing health authorities reported Thursday.

There were no new SARS cases in
Beijing
between 10:00 a.m. May 29 and 10:00 a.m. June 26, the Beijing health authorities reported Thursday.
By 10:00 am Thursday, the accumulative number of SARS cases in Beijing stood at 2,521, with 2,288 patients discharged from hospitals upon recovery and 192 deaths.
There are still 34 patients in hospital.
On Tuesday, the World Health Organization removed Beijing from its list of SARS infected areas and lifted its travel advisory against the city, saying the risk for travelers to Beijing "is nowminimum," and calling the development a "milestone" in the fight against SARS around the world.
