Israeli and Palestinian National Authority (PNA) security officials will meet again Wednesday to continue dialogue on handing over security responsibility for the northern Gaza Strip and the West Bank city of Bethlehem, Israel Radio reported.
Israeli Major General Amos Gilad, coordinator of government activities in the Palestinian territories, and PNA Minister of State for Security Affairs Mohammed Dahlan will take part in the meeting, the report said.
The meeting was first scheduled on Tuesday, but delayed 24 hoursat Israel's request so that it could formulate responses to demandsmade by the PNA.
Jerusalem Post reported Wednesday that after an agreement is reached on transferring security control in Gaza and Bethlehem to the PNA, Israel will grant the Palestinians a three to four weeks' grace period.
But Israel will not give up its option of targeted killings evenduring the grace period if "ticking bombs" terrorists are on their way to carry out attacks on Israel.
