Dengue Fever Cases Rise Sharply in Vietnam
Vietnam reported 9,300 dengue fever infected people and 22 deaths from the disease in the first six months of this year.

Vietnam
reported 9,300 dengue fever infected people and 22 deaths from the disease in the first six months of this year.
The figures represent year-on-year increases of 2.5 times in term of infected cases and 5.5 times in term of death number, according to a report of Vietnamese
Ministry of Health
on Tuesday.
Only in June, dengue fever epidemic occurred across 61 cities and provinces of the country, causing 1,258 cases and three deaths.
Of which, localities with high number of infected people include Ho Chi Minh City, and southern provinces of Tien Giang, Dong Thap and Ben Tre.
