Coal Mine Accident Kills 14 in Guangdong
An accident in Jianghu coal mine, south China's Guangdong Province, killed 14 people and injured 12 on Saturday.

Province, killed 14 people and injured 12 on Saturday.
At 9:55 pm Saturday, a mining car in Jianghu coal mine was out of control when carrying 26 miners down into an inclined shaft.
Jianghu coal mine is located in Xiushui Town of Lechang City in Chaoguan of Guangdong. It is a private mine owned by Wang Haishan from central China's
Hunan
Province.
The miners there work on three shifts. The shaft is 180-250 meters deep with a sloping angle of 25 degrees. The juncture of the car fell off when it went down to 60 meters above the ground. The 12 injured, three of whom are serious, are receiving emergency treatment in the No. 2 People's Hospital in Lechang.
Vice governor of Guangdong You Ningfeng and other officials rushed to the coal mine for rescue.
