Chinese Mainland Reports No New SARS Cases (June 14)
Chinese Ministry of Health (MOH) Saturday reported no new severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) case but two new deaths from the disease on the Chinese mainland for the 24 hours from 10:00 a.m. June 13 to 10:00 a.m. June 14.

According to the ministry, 55 SARS patients were discharged from hospitals upon recovery during the period, including 50 in Beijing, four in Shanxi and one in Tianjin.
During the 24-hour period, the Chinese mainland reported three new suspect SARS cases, two in Beijing, one in south China's Guangdong Province.
In the meantime, 70 suspect SARS cases were ruled out: 69 in Beijing and one in Guangdong.
The total number of suspect SARS cases on the Chinese mainland was 53 as of 10:00 a.m. June 14, according to the MOH.
As of 10:00 a.m. June 14, there were 390 SARS patients hospitalized on the Chinese mainland.
In the last 20 days, Beijing, Liaoning and Sichuan reported new SARS cases, MOH said.
The World Health Organization (WHO) Friday lifted travel advisory on Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia and Tianjin.
