Three Thousand Enterprises Approved for On-line Trade Fair

Applications for China's largest ever on-line industrial commodities trade fair closed at noon Saturday, with 3,052 enterprises approved for participation.

Applications for China's largest ever on-line industrial commodities trade fair closed at noon Saturday, with 3,052 enterprises approved for participation.

The Zhejiang On-line Industrial Commodities Trade Fair will open at 9:30 a.m. on Jun. 15. An official from the Zhejiang Provincial Trade and Economic Commission said the application deadline was deferred from Jun. 10 to Jun. 14, due to the large number of applications.

He said the whole application process was completed through theInternet. The China Chemical Network created the application webpage and all enterprises could log on to the Internet to apply and send their information directly to the database.

The commission asked local trade and economic commissions to appraise the applications to ensure the authenticity of the enterprises.

The on-line trade fair will last for one month, with nearly 20,000 products from over 30 trades.
