Vice Premier Huang Ju Meets with Ericsson CEO

The Chinese government attaches great importance to the development of information technology and welcomes Sweden-based Ericsson to strengthen cooperation with the IT sector in China, Chinese Vice Premier Huang Ju said Thursday.

The Chinese government attaches great importance to the development of information technology and welcomes Sweden-based Ericsson to strengthen cooperation with the IT sector in China, Chinese Vice Premier Huang Ju said Thursday.

Huang made the remarks during a meeting with visiting Ericsson Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President Carl-Henric Svanberg in Beijing Thursday afternoon.

Huang said China is ready to join hands with Ericsson to promote the development of information technology in China.

He said that the pursuit of a new path of industrialization with the development of information technology as the driving force is a natural choice for China.

Svanberg said Ericsson will continue to expand its operations and investment in China.
