Chinese Mainland Reports No New SARS Cases (June 10)
The Chinese mainland reported no new SARS cases and 3 new deaths from the disease between 10:00 a.m.June 9 and 10:00 a.m. June 10, the Ministry of Health said Tuesday.

From 10:00 am June 9 to 10:00 am June 10, the Chinese mainland reported no new diagnosed or suspected SARS case, 108 patients recovered and 3 deaths. Beijing reported 94 patients recovered and 2 deaths; and Shanxi reported 6 patients recovered and 1 death. Patients recovered also included 7 from Inner Mongolia and 1 from Hebei.
During the period, the Chinese mainland also reported 116 misdiagnosed suspected cases, of which 100 were from Beijing, 7 each from Inner Mongolia and Jiangsu, and 1 each from Shanxi and Anhui. By 10:00 am June 10, the Chinese mainland had a total of 443 suspected cases.
Beijing reports no new cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) from 10:00 a.m. June 9 to10:00 a.m. June 10, said the Beijing Joint Anti-SARS Task Force Tuesday.
China's capital city has reported neither new confirmed SARS cases nor new suspected SARS cases for three consecutive days.
The city government is continuing the quarantine on airports, railway and highway travel, coping with the reopening of schools and universities and improving administration of the floating population, the task force said.
