Chinese Mainland Reports 3 New SARS Cases (June 3)

There was 3 new severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) case and no new deaths from the disease between 10:00 a.m. June 2 and 10:00 a.m. June 3 on the Chinese mainland, the Ministry of Health reported Tuesday.

There was 3 new severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) case and no new deaths from the disease between 10:00 a.m. June 2 and 10:00 a.m. June 3 on the Chinese mainland, the Ministry of Health reported Tuesday.

The cumulative SARS cases rose to 5,329, while the number of SARS patients discharged from hospitals and the death toll reached3,558 and 334 respectively, the ministry said in a daily report.

One new SARS case, one death in HK
There are one new case of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and one new death among the SARS patients in Hong Kong on Tuesday, said the Department of Health and the Hospital Authority.
