Chinese and Russian Presidents Holding Talks

Visiting Chinese President Hu Jintao held talks in Moscow on Monday with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on ways to further strengthen the Sino-Russian strategic cooperative partnership.

Visiting Chinese President Hu Jintao held talks in Moscow on Monday with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on ways to further strengthen the Sino-Russian strategic cooperative partnership.

The two leaders also discussed other issues of common concern.

This is the first time that Hu Jintao held formal talks as Chinese president with Vladimir Putin.

After the talks, the two heads of state are expected to attend a ceremony for the signing of documents on Sino-Russian cooperation.
