Senior HK Police Charged for Bribery, Misconduct
A senior superintendent of Hong Kong Police was charged Thursday by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) for alleged bribery, misconduct in public office, and possession of poison, the ICAC said.
A senior superintendent of Hong Kong Police was charged Thursday by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) for alleged bribery, misconduct in public office, and possession of poison, the ICAC said.
Sin Kam-wah, 45, faces one count of government servant accepting an advantage, contrary to Section 3 of the Prevention ofBribery Ordinance (PBO); three of misconduct in public office; andtwo of possession of poison, the ICAC said.
Also charged in the same case is businesswoman Lam Chuen-ip, who faces three counts of offering an advantage to a government servant and three of exercising control over other persons with a view to their prostitution.
