HK Chief Executive Meets Mainland Scientists

Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa met a visiting delegation of medical scientists and professionals from the mainland Thursday.

Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa met a visiting delegation of medical scientists and professionals from the mainland Thursday.

The delegation was led by Chen Zhu, Vice-President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

They exchanged experience in the prevention and control of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).

The delegation is on a three-day study tour here, and will meetmedical and health officials as well as experts from the universities on the SARS issue.
