Cumulative SARS Cases Rise to 4,805 on Chinese Mainland
The cumulative cases of severe acuterespiratory syndrome (SARS) on the Chinese mainland rose to 4,805 by 10:00 a.m. May 9, the Ministry of Health reported Friday.
The cumulative cases of severe acuterespiratory syndrome (SARS) on the Chinese mainland rose to 4,805 by 10:00 a.m. May 9, the Ministry of Health reported Friday.
Of the total cases, 1,582 patients had been discharged from hospitals upon recovery and 230 died.
The Chinese mainland also reported a total of 2,566 suspected cases meanwhile.
* Seven cases were ruled out from Beijing's total clinically confirmed cases, including one medical staff member and two cases which had been turned to suspected cases.
** Two cases were ruled out from Shanxi's total confirmed cases.
*** Two cases were ruled out from the total clinically confirmed cases in Inner Mongolia.
