US Suggests Russia to Take Part in Talks over DPRK's Nuclear Issue
The United States has expressed its favor of holding multilateral talks on the DPRK nuclear issue with Russia's participation, US under-secretary of state for arms control John Bolton said Monday.

Bolton told a press conference after meeting with Russian officials that Russia and the United States want the problem to beresolved in a diplomatic way if possible.
He said the US and Russia have identical positions on the issuebecause neither of them wants the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to have nuclear weapons.
Bolton also accused Iran of violating the Treaty on the Nonproliferation of Nuclear Weapons and of not observing the guarantees given to the International Atomic Energy Agency.
However, he admitted that Russia has a different approach to this issue.
The top US arms control official said that during meeting with Russian Atomic Energy Minister Alexander Rumyantsev, he had expressed concern about possible presence of nuclear weapons in Iran.
Russia is helping Iran build a nuclear power plant in Bushehr. Washington has voiced its suspicion that Iran may use the Bushehr plant for developing nuclear arms. Both Russia and Iran rejected the US allegations.
Bolton told reporters that the United States would continue search for weapons of mass destruction and projects for their production in Iraq.
The United States understands the importance of the issue, he said, adding it will release all data about Iraq's WMD it received.
Bolton arrived in Moscow on Sunday. The main goal of his trip is for preparations for Russian-US summit scheduled for late of May in St. Petersburg.
He had meetings with Atomic Energy Minister Alexander Rumyantsev and Deputy Foreign Ministers Alexander Losyukov and Georgy Mamedov on Monday.
