DPRK Refutes US Report on Terrorism
The US campaign against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in its annual report on terrorism will only make the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula more complicated, a DPRK Foreign Ministry spokesman said in an interview with the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Monday.
"The US smear campaign against the DPRK will only make the settlement of the nuclear issue between the DPRK and the United States more complicated and aggravate the situation", the spokesman said, referring to the annual report on terrorism released by the US State Department on Wednesday, which designated Iran, Syria, the DPRK, Sudan, Cuba, Iraq and Libya as the countries sponsoring terrorism
"This is a hackneyed trick used by the United States whenever it launched a smear campaign to isolate and stifle the DPRK," the spokesman said.
The United States seeks to Americanize the world in disregard of international law, which could be seen through its war on Iraq,he continued.
"But the United States is mistaken if it thinks its practice will go down the DPRK", where all people are single-heartedly united, the spokesman added.
