ROK PM Speaks Highly of China's Fight against SARS

South Korean Prime Minister Goh Kun on Wednesday spoke highly of China's fight against severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).

South Korean Prime Minister Goh Kun on Wednesday spoke highly of China's fight against severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).

Under the leadership of the Chinese government, the Chinese people have been combating the SARS epidemic with great efforts and unity, Goh said in a message to Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.

Delivering his sincere condolence to the Chinese government and people, Goh said he was glad to learn that the SARS situation in some parts of China has been alleviated.

The prime minister also expressed his belief that the epidemic in China will be controlled soon.

He finally hoped that China will maintain its speedy economic development and prosperity.
