China Hopes to Enhance Economic Cooperation with Cuba: Minister

China hopes to further bilateral economic and trade ties with Cuba in depth and width, especially between enterprises and banks of the two countries, Minister of Commerce Lu Fuyuan said Monday.

China hopes to further bilateral economic and trade ties with Cuba in depth and width, especially between enterprises and banks of the two countries, Minister of Commerce Lu Fuyuan said Monday.

Lu made the remarks while meeting with Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, minister of government of Cuba, noting the two countries share a traditional friendship and the ministry is determined to exert itsdue efforts to push forward bilateral trade.

Cabrisas said that Cuba attaches importance to bilateral relations with China and the two countries share great potential for further development of economic and trade cooperation in various fields.
