Tung to Attend China-ASEAN Leaders' Special Meeting on SARS

Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government Tung Chee Hwa will leave for Bangkok on Monday evening to attend the China-ASEAN Leaders' special meeting on SARS.

Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government Tung Chee Hwa will leave for Bangkok on Monday evening to attend the China-ASEAN Leaders' special meeting on SARS.

A HKSAR government statement said Monday that Tung will be a main member of the Chinese delegation.

Accompanying Tung on the trip will be Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food E K Yeoh, Director of the Chief Executive's Office W K Lam, Director of Information Services Yvonne Choi and other officials.

ASEAN groups Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
