Tung Chee Hwa Meets Guangdong Governor on Efforts against SARS

Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa met with Governor of Guangdong Huang Huahua in Shenzhen on improved efforts against SARS Friday, according to a governmentpress release.

Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa met with Governor of Guangdong Huang Huahua in Shenzhen on improved efforts against SARS Friday, according to a governmentpress release.

Tung met Huang to discuss how to further improve the work on the prevention and treatment of SARS. They had an in-depth and candid exchange of experience and views on a range of issues concerning how to combat the disease.

Tung and Huang agreed that officials and experts of Guangdong in the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong would work more closely and comprehensively to strengthen the exchange of information, sharingof experience and cooperation in preventing and treating the disease.
