Shanghai VW Cuts Selling Prices of Passat by 20,000 yuan

Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co. has knocked 20,000 yuan or 2,400 US dollars off the selling price of its Passat sedans. The prices of the different models now range from about 24,000 to 40,000 US dollars.

Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co. has knocked 20,000 yuan or 2,400 US dollars off the selling price of its Passat sedans. The prices of the different models now range from about 24,000 to 40,000 US dollars.

Analysts say the company made the move responding to declining sedan prices on the domestic market.

The auto maker also plans to launch a new Passat luxury model later this month. (CRI News)
