The US-based Hayward University has agreed with northeast China's Jilin Province to help training 100 Chinese doctors and hospital managers in the United States.
A cooperation agreement was signed by the two sides during a visit by Nancy R. Mangold, vice-president of the Business Institute of the Hayward University to Jilin.
The first training program on the genetic treatment of tumors and hospital management will start in July, and the first installment of the training budget of around 500,000 US dollars will be provided by the Hayward University.
Mangold said the training program would help Chinese doctors better understand the US medical industry and learn more about the management of medical information, and the latest developments in medical science.
