Richard Boucher, spokesman forthe United States Department of State, said Friday the US administration has decided not to sponsor a resolution against China on its human rights situation at the ongoing session of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva.
"After careful consideration, the United States decided not to sponsor a resolution on China's human rights practices at the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva this year," Boucher told a news briefing at the State Department.
