Pentagon: 115 US Soldiers Killed in Iraq

A total of 115 US soldiers have so far died and 400 others wounded in the ongoing war Iraq, the Pentagon said Sunday.

A total of 115 US soldiers have so far died and 400 others wounded in the ongoing war Iraq, the Pentagon said Sunday.

The update was an increase of one from Saturday after a US NavyF/A-18 attack jet pilot, which had been listed as missing in action earlier, was added to the death toll.

Meanwhile, five US solders remain missing while the number of prisoners of war was reduced to zero on Sunday after seven US Armysoldiers held by Iraqi forces got released.

Among the deaths, 103 of them were killed in action while the others succumbed to "friendly fires" or accidents.
