China's national badminton team has claimed three titles at the 2003 Yonex Open in Japan, silencing critics following their disappointment at the Sudirman Cup two weeks ago.

China was certain of victory in the men's singles and the women's doubles.
Former Asian champion Xia Xuanze beat his team-mate Lin Dan 2-love in the men's singles.
Meanwhile, Chinese golden pair Gao Ling and Huang Sui defeated their team-mates Wei Yili and Zhao Tingting 2-1 to win the title as expected.
In the Mixed Doubles final, Chinese Zhang Jun and Gao Ling outplayed a Danish pair to grab the title.
In the Women's singles, Chinese newcomer Xie Xingfang failed to get her hands on a World Grand Prix title, as Denmark's Camilla Martin brushed her aside.
Now, the Chinese team is preparing for the next stage of the World GP, the Korea Open, which starts tomorrow in Incheon.
