China, France Should Strengthen Cooperation: Jiang
China and France should enhance cooperation in the interest of world peace, stability and development, said Jiang Zemin, chairman of China's Central Military Commission, on Thursday.
China and France should enhance cooperation in the interest of world peace, stability and development, said Jiang Zemin, chairman of China's Central Military Commission, on Thursday.
Jiang made the remark when meeting with former French President Valery Giscard D'Estaing who led a business delegation attend the Ninth China-France Economic Seminar scheduled for Thursday and Friday.
Jiang praised D'Estaing for his efforts to promote China-Franceties, bilateral trade and economic cooperation. He said the two economies are highly complementary, and their fruitful cooperationhas great potential for further development.
D'Estaing said France and China shared similar views on many international issues, and the two sides can further communication and coordination on relevant issues.
He hoped the two countries would enhance trade and economic cooperation to promote bilateral ties.
