DPRK Test-fires Anti-ship Missile

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) test-fired another surface-to-ship missile on Tuesday, Kyodo news agency quoted a Foreign Ministry official as saying.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) test-fired another surface-to-ship missile on Tuesday, Kyodo news agency quoted a Foreign Ministry official as saying.

The short-range missile is the third of its kind since February,the official said.

The missile launch, following one on Feb. 24 and another on March 10, was not aimed at Japan and will not pose a serious security concern to Japan, the official was quoted as saying.

S.Korea confirms report of DPRK missile launch
South Korea confirmed the report that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) fired a ground-to-ship missile to the sea of Japan earlier Tuesday.

South Korean Defense Ministry has confirmed the report, but the ministry did not penetrate "any DPRK preparation of such launch," local TV YTN quoted a source with the ministry as saying.
