US Says Four of its Marines Missing in Iraq, One Killed
One US marine was killed accidentally by a US armored vehicle and four were missing in combat operations near the Iraqi city of Nassiriya, the US Central Command said on Friday.

In a statement, the US Central Command said that the missing marines are from the US 1st Marine Expeditionary Force.
The statement said that one US marine, also from the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, was killed and another injured on Wednesday night when they were accidentally run over by a US armored vehiclein southern Iraq.
Since the US-led coalition launched the war on Iraq last Thursday, at least 29 American soldiers have been killed, and another 24 were missing.
