China to Continue Reform of Social Sciences Construction
China's social sciences has entered a new stage of fast development, a senior official with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) said Wednesday.
China's social sciences has entered a new stage of fast development, a senior official with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) said Wednesday.
CASS president Chen Kuiyuan made the remarks at an annual meeting, noting that the academy should continue institutional reform in an effort to build some 30 high-quality research centers.
The CASS will also carry out a series of strategic researches relevant to the country's development in future, Chen said.
Chen emphasized that the CASS will set up a new employment mechanism and improve the living conditions of young talents, especially those of leading experts in key subjects.
