Umm Qasr Still in Iraq's Hands: al-Sahaf

Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf Wednesday again denied that the US-led coalition forces had taken control of Umm Qasr, a deep-water port in southern Iraq.

Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf Wednesday again denied that the US-led coalition forces had taken control of Umm Qasr, a deep-water port in southern Iraq.

"We are hitting them (coalition forces) beautifully," he told apress conference, pledging that the Iraqi troops would show Americans "what defense means".
