US Launches 90 More Cruise Missiles into Iraq
More than 40 Tomahawk were launched in and around Baghdad in the past 24 hours, 20 from the Gulf and 20 from the Red Sea, said Mike Brown, spokesman of the USS Kitty Hawk aircraft carrier battle group saidTuesday night.

Earlier on Tuesday, Brown said 50 Tomahawk cruise missiles werelaunched into Iraq from the Red Sea and the Mediterranean.
So far, about 590 cruise missiles were fired into Iraq from theRed Sea, the Gulf and the Mediterranean since the war started on March 20.
The US Navy will continue to launch Tomahawk cruise missiles into Iraq, Brown said.
"We're committed to removing Saddam regime and liberating the Iraqi people," he said.
On Tuesday, F/A-18 Hornet fighters from the Kitty Hawk aircraftcarrier dropped four 1000-pound satellite guided bombs and two JSOW (Joint Stand-off Weapons) cluster bombs in Kapala area near Baghdad, said Nicole Cratzer, a spokeswoman of the Kitty Hawk aircraft carrier.
The targets were missile supply vehicles of the Iraqi Republican guard units, she said.
On Monday, F/A fighters from the Kitty Hawk aircraft carrier dropped 25 1000-pound satellite guided missile and one 2000-pound bomb, according the spokeswoman.
Targets included artillery pieces, equipment in revetments and ammunition storage facility near Baghdad, she said.
