Europe Union's Mideast envoy Miguel-Angel Moratinos said on Friday the roadmap of Mideast peace process will be issued soon, the official NNA news agency reported.

Following his talks with Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, Moratinos said the roadmap designed by the quartet -- the United Nations, the United States, the European Union and Russia -- will be issued in "no more than two weeks, or just 10 days."

"We hope the issue of the roadmap and its implementation will bring hope for all parties of the region," Moratinos added.

He said that the EU is keen to issue the roadmap that was formulated in Washington last December.

Meanwhile, he said he believes the ongoing Iraq war could have positive effects on the Mideast peace process.

"The peace process could go forward and you have seen US President George W. Bush has declared his determination to put the process forward," he said.
