China's top advisory body Friday voiced its shock and concerns over military actions against Iraq by the United States and some other countries.

China's top advisory body Friday voiced its shock and concerns over military actions against Iraq by the United States and some other countries.

In a statement issued by its Foreign Affairs Subcommittee, the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) strongly calls for the nations concerned to comply with the voice of the international community, stop the military actions and continue to seek political solution to the Iraq issue within the UN framework.
