US-led Aggression Must be Condemned: State Duma Vice Chairman

The Russian State Duma must condemn the US-led war against Iraq as an "aggression," said Lyubov Sliska, vice chairman of the lower house of parliament, on Thursday.

The Russian State Duma must condemn the US-led war against Iraq as an "aggression," said Lyubov Sliska, vice chairman of the lower house of parliament, on Thursday.

"We must preserve the honor of our flag and make a statement condemning this aggression," she was quoted by the Interfax news agency as saying.

"Unfortunately, it is too late to speak of it now -- the war is a reality, and obviously we must expect a high casualty toll," sheadded.
