Iraqi Ambassador to Russia Says US-led War 'Perfidious Crime'

Iraqi ambassador to Russia AbbasKhalaf Thursday condemned the US-led attack against Iraq as "a perfidious crime against the Iraqi people," the Interfax newsagency reported.

Iraqi ambassador to Russia AbbasKhalaf Thursday condemned the US-led attack against Iraq as "a perfidious crime against the Iraqi people," the Interfax newsagency reported.

"Now a new era in the history of international relations has probably begun. It's a bad era because it's an era of criminals,"Khalaf said.

The attack "once again confirms the aggressive essence of the Bush administration and its allies," he said."We will be giving resolute rebuffs to the aggressors," he noted.
