Aziz Warns US of a Bloody War

Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Tareq Aziz on Wednesday evening warned the United States of a bloody war. "War will not be short, and it will take a long time, and it will not be a picnic for US soldiers, and it will be a bloody war,"Aziz told reporters when commenting on a looming US-led war on Iraq.

Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Tareq Aziz on Wednesday evening warned the United States of a bloody war. "War will not be short, and it will take a long time, and it will not be a picnic for US soldiers, and it will be a bloody war,"Aziz told reporters when commenting on a looming US-led war on Iraq.

"Any US attack on Iraq is unjust aggression, not an act of peace," he said, adding the majority of the international communityvoiced opposition to the war.

"The United States is in breach of the international law and theUN Charter," said Aziz, who also termed as "cheap psychological warfare" an earlier report that he has defected.
