The following is a line-up of the ministers, central bank governor and auditor-general under the State Council, China's cabinet, who were elected at the annual session of the national legislature earlier Monday:

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Li Zhaoxing, born in 1940, native of Shandong Province; until recently member of the Communist Partyof China (CPC) Central Committee, secretary of the Foreign Ministry CPC Committee, and vice-foreign minister.

Minister of National Defense, Cao Gangchuan (concurrently), born in 1935, native of Henan Province; until recently member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Committee, vice-chairman of both the CPC Central Military Commission and the Central Military Commission of China.

Minister in charge of the State Development and Reform Commission, Ma Kai, born in 1946, native of Shanghai; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and deputy secretary-general of the State Council.

Minister of Education, Zhou Ji, born in 1946, native of Shanghai; until recently vice-minister of education.

Minister of Science and Technology, Xu Guanhua, born in 1941, native of Shanghai; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and minister of science and technology.

Minister in charge of the Commission of Science, Technology andIndustry for National Defense, Zhang Yunchuan, born in 1946, native of Zhejiang Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of Hunan.

Minister in charge of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, Li Dek Su, born in 1943, native of Jilin Province, of ethnic Korean group; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, minister in charge of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission; deputy head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee.

Minister of Public Security, Zhou Yongkang (concurrently), born1942, native of Jiangsu Province; until recently member of both the Political Bureau and Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee,minister of public security, first political commissar of the Chinese Armed Police Forces.

Minister of State Security, Xu Yongyue, born in 1942, native ofHenan Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee,and minister of state security

Minister of Supervision, Li Zhilun, born in 1942, native of Liaoning Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, deputy secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, and vice-minister of supervision.

Minister of Civil Affairs, Li Xueju, born in 1945, native of Jilin Province; until recently vice-minister of civil affairs.

Minister of Justice, Zhang Fusen, born in 1940, native of Beijing; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and minister of justice.

Minister of Finance, Jin Renqing, born in 1944, native of Jiangsu Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and director of the State Administration of Taxation.

Minister of personnel; Zhang Bailin, born in 1942, native of Liaoning Province; until recently executive deputy head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and concurrently vice-minister of personnel.

Minister of Labor and Social Security, Zheng Silin, born in 1940, native of Jiangsu Province; until recently member of the CPCCentral Committee.

Minister of Land and Resources, Tian Fengshan, born in 1940, native of Shandong Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and minister of land and resources.

Minister of Construction, Wang Guangtao, born in 1943, native of Anhui Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and minister of construction.

Minister of Railways, Liu Zhijun, born in 1953, native of Hubei Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and vice-minister of railways.

Minister of Communications, Zhang Chunxian, born in 1953, native of Henan Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and minister of communications.

Minister of Information Industry, Wang Xudong, born in 1946, native of Jiangsu Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and vice-minister of information industry.

Minister of Water Resources, Wang Shucheng, born in 1941, native of Jiangsu Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and minister of water resources.

Minister of Agriculture, Du Qinglin, born in 1946, native of Jilin Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and minister of agriculture.

Minister of Commerce, Lu Fuyuan, born in 1945, a native of Heilongjiang Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and vice-minister of foreign trade and economic cooperation.

Minister of Culture, Sun Jiazheng, born in 1944, native of Jiangsu Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and minister of culture.

Minister of Health, Zhang Wenkang, born 1940, native of Shanghai; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and minister of health.

Minister in charge of the State Population and Family Planning Commission, Zhang Weiqing, born in 1944, native of Shaanxi Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and minister in charge of the State Family Planning Commission.

Governor of the People's Bank of China, Zhou Xiaochuan, born in1948, native of Jiangsu Province; until recently member of the CPCCentral Committee, and governor of the People's Bank of China.

Auditor-General of the National Audit Office, Li Jinhua, born in 1943, native of Jiangsu Province; until recently member of the CPC Central Committee, and auditor-general of the National Audit Office.
