Jiang Expresses Condolences on Chinese Weapons Inspector Killed in Iraq

Jiang Zemin, chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, has expressed great concern upon hearing the news that Chinese weapons inspector Yu Jianxing died in Iraq.

Jiang Zemin, chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, has expressed great concern upon hearing the news that Chinese weapons inspector Yu Jianxing died in Iraq.

Sources with the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chinese Ministry of National Defense said Saturday that Jiang had sent a telegram of condolences to Yu's wife Xu Xinyi to express his deep sympathy.
