Ibrahim Al Maqadma, security chief of Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), was among the four people killed by Israeli missile raid on Saturday morning, witnesses said.

Two Apache attack helicopters assassinated a top Hamas leader and three other militants, the witnesses said.

Chief of public security in Gaza City, Brig. Saeb El Aajez, confirmed that four were killed and four others injured, adding that among the four dead is Ibrahim Al Maqadma.

The witnesses said that the helicopters fired five missiles that targeted a local Palestinian Mitsubishi car that drove at one of Gaza City's main streets, where four Hamas members, including the Hamas leader in Gaza City, were inside.

All the residents of Gaza saw the two Apache helicopters, and heard the five explosions, they said, adding that as soon as the helicopters left the area, dozens of residents rushed to the scene as well as ambulances.

Medical sources at Shiffa Hospital said that it was hard to recognize the bodies after they arrived at the hospital by residents and ambulances, adding that pieces of their bodies were brought to the hospital.
