Iraq Starts Destruction of 6 More Banned Missiles

Iraq started on Thursday destruction of six more Al-Samoud 2 missiles, which are banned under UN resolutions, an Iraqi official told reporters.

Iraq started on Thursday destruction of six more Al-Samoud 2 missiles, which are banned under UN resolutions, an Iraqi official told reporters.

The destruction was taking place under supervision of UN weapons inspectors at the al-Taji air base, 40 km north of Baghdad,the official said.
