Preparations for Xiamen-Taiwan Export Fair Go Smoothly
Preparations for the seventh Xiamen-Taiwan Export Commodity Fair from April 13 to 16 are going smoothly with applications rolling in from companies and dealers, according to the organizing committee in Xiamen, a port city of southeast China's Fujian Province.

The fair would have about 1,200 exhibition stands, including 700 for machinery manufacturers, said Shen Danyang, head of the organizing committee, adding that applications had been received from around 1,000 enterprises from Japan, the Republic of Korea, India and other nations, and some 200 companies from Taiwan.
World leading machinery manufacturers such as Sumitomo Group ofJapan, LG Group and Epson will participate in the event.
The annual trade fair is the only channel for the inland provinces to promote goods exchanges with Taiwan.
