Four Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured by Israeli troops' gunfire on Sunday in Israeli army's incursions into town of Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip,Palestinian medical sources said.
The sources said earlier two Palestinians were killed and 39 were injured as Israeli army tanks and bulldozers raided the AlNamsawi neighborhood west of the town, in which three houses and afence of a hospital were destroyed.
During the funeral of the two killed in the incursion, Israeli soldiers again opened fire at hundreds of Palestinian mourners near the graveyard.
Three were injured, including a nine-year-old boy, who later died of his critical wounds, said the sources, adding that the other two are still in serious conditions.
Meanwhile, a 53-year-old Palestinian woman also died of her wounds she sustained when Israeli soldiers demolished her house in the Rafah refugee camp in southern Gaza Strip on Oct. 23. About one year ago, one of the woman's sons was killed after he carried out an armed attack at Jewish settlers and Israeli soldiers convoy near the Jewish settlement of Kfar Darom in central GazaStrip.
The Israeli military escalation in the Gaza Strip came one day after the Arab summit, which was held in Egypt's Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, called on the Arab world to continue their political and financial support for the Palestinians in its final statement.
