Putin, Bush Vow to Find Mutually Acceptable Solution on Iraq
Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart George W. Bush vowed Thursday to seek a mutually acceptable solution on Iraq through the UN Security Council, the Interfax news agency reported.

In a telephone conversation, Putin and Bush "expressed determination to intensify work at the UN Security Council with the purpose of developing a plan of action that would guarantee the interests of the entire international community," the Interfaxquoted the Kremlin press service as saying.
Speaking of the nuclear problem in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Putin and Bush favored political and diplomatic means of improving the situation.
