Jiang Expresses Sympathy over S.Korea Subway Tragedy

Chinese President Jiang Zemin on Tuesday expressed condolences over the subway tragedy in South Korea's Daegu city which killed at least 100 people.

Chinese President Jiang Zemin on Tuesday expressed condolences over the subway tragedy in South Korea's Daegu city which killed at least 100 people.

In a message to South Korean President Kim Dae-jung, Jiang, on behalf of the Chinese government and people, and in his own name, expressed sincere condolences to the South Korean government and people, the bereft families and those injured in the tragedy.
