4 Dead, 128 Injured in Arson Attack on S.Korean Subway, Suspect Arrested
Four South Korean passengers were dead and other 128 injured after a arson attack on a subway train in Daegu, about 200 kilometers south to Seoul, on Tuesday.

A 46-year old male suspect, who was seen to ignite a green plastic milk box with combustible material and threw it into the train, was arrested, said a local television report.
The wounded passengers, who were mainly suffered from burns, have been sent to three different hospitals rightly after the incident erupted. But four were confirmed dead after they were sent to hospital.
The police estimated about a dozen of subway staff members were trapped in the JongAn Ro station of the No. 1 line of the Daegu subway, but the fire fighters could not access to the train for toxic gas.
YTN's television footage there showed heavy smoke emitted from the intakes of the subway. And police and fire fighters with gas masks were busing with rescue work.
The subway has been suspended due to the accident, and traffic control is also conducted in the central city for the transportation of the wounded.
