China showed its dominance in the sport of badminton again as the powerhouse secured the two titles in women's singles and mixed doubles events on Saturday.

Olympic champions Zhang Jun/Gao Lin, seeded eighth here, pulled off a 6-11, 11-3, 11-5 win over sixth-seeded Nova Widianto/Vita Marissa of Indonesia in the semifinal.

They will meet teammates Chen Qiqiu/Zhao Tingting in the final, who went through after overcoming Danish pair Jonas Rasmussen/Rikke Olsen, champions of German Open last year.

The women's singles title race has also become an all-Chinese affair after four Chinese players made the semifinals of the tournament on Friday.

Gong Ruina, the finalist of last year's tournament, will meet Xie Xingfang while Asian champion Zhou Mi play Zhang Ning, runner-up at Asian Championship last year.

"The semifinal matches will be much tougher to play, because we teammates know each other and are almost on the same level," she said.

The finals will be held on Sunday.
